A paw-some day out for dogs and their humans!

Join us for a full day of tail-wagging fun in the beautiful countryside setting of Lyde Court. Whether you’re a proud pup parent or just love being around dogs, this event is packed with activities, competitions, and treats for everyone.

“All About Dogs” is open to everyone. You’re welcome to come along to enjoy the dog walk, browse our trade stands, and enjoy treats from the cafe. Tickets are required if you wish to enter a competition, but we encourage booking a ticket even for general attendance so we can plan for the number of visitors.

What to Expect:

From 10:00 AM – Event Opens!

• Gates open to the public
• A warm welcome from Battersea Dog Rescue
• Dog stalls open all day with accessories, treats, gifts, and more
• Dog portrait artist begins taking commissions
• Dog walk maps available at the entrance

10:30 AM – Dog Walks Begin

• Enjoy a 1-mile self-guided walk around the Lyde Court grounds
• Maps provided – explore at your own pace

11:00 AM – Dog Competition 1: Waggiest Tail

• Enter at the main arena (arrive 15 mins before start)
• £5 entry – prizes for the top 3 waggiest tails!

12:00 PM – Dog Competition 2: Wettest Nose

• Silly, fun and adorable – don’t forget a towel!
• £5 entry

12:30 PM – Lunch Break & Browse Time

• Café and snack hut open
• Chill in our picnic area or grab a puppuccino
• Dog stalls remain open throughout

1:30 PM – Dog Competition 3: Cutest Puppy

• For puppies under 12 months
• £5 entry

2:30 PM – Dog Competition 4: Best Veteran

• Dogs aged 8+
• £5 entry – time to celebrate our senior superstars

3:15 PM – Portrait Artist Final Orders

• Last chance to book a custom portrait of your pup
• Info shared for post-event delivery

3:30 PM – Prize Giving & Thank You Speech (plus raffle)

• 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes for all four competition categories
• Rosettes and goodies for the winners!
• Raffle Prizes including dog hampers, training vouchers, treats and a free pet photoshoot!
  

4:00 PM – Event Close

• Stalls Close
• Final dog walk departures

Food & Treats:

• Puppuccinos, doggy dinners & doggy ice cream
• Fresh café food and drinks for humans too!
