Wild Autumn Medicine
September 6 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
“Guided walk to learn about the edible and medicinal uses of berries, nuts and roots. We will harvest some and then process and cook our bounty outside over the fire, to make elderberry cordial to take home (100ml bottle). Other wild food sampling also.
A chance to gain knowledge about native trees and woodland/hedgerow plants plus safe and sustainable harvesting. A beautiful opportunity this Autumn to connect with nature through wild food foraging and medicinal uses of trees/plants. Children are welcome and I will provide activities for them to enjoy as we forage and talk.
To finish, we will have lunch together from the Lyde Court Cafe, cost included in the ticket price, including half portions for children.”
Early bird rate is on until 23 August….
