Spring Wild Food Forage
April 12 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Join us at Lyde Court for a guided foraging walk exploring the edible and medicinal uses of leaves, flowers and roots found in our surrounding countryside.
Together, we’ll learn how to identify native trees and woodland and hedgerow plants, with a focus on safe and sustainable harvesting. Along the way, we’ll gather a small selection of seasonal finds before heading back to cook and prepare our harvest over the fire. Expect tastings of freshly made soup, pesto, wild “coffee” and herbal teas.
This relaxed springtime experience is a lovely way to slow down, connect with nature and learn practical wild food skills. Children are very welcome, with activities provided to keep them engaged while we forage and chat.
The experience finishes with a shared lunch from Lyde Court Café, included in the ticket price, with half portions available for children.
A gentle, hands-on day of learning, food and fresh air in the Herefordshire countryside.
