Oast House guest accommodation at Lyde Court
Oast House is our Scandinavian youth hostel style accommodation on site, and it really is very unique to find something like this at a wedding venue. By having your guests stay overnight, they don’t have to worry about taxis home and can nod off just as soon or as late as they wish to! It also allows you to extend the fun by sharing a delicious (and very reasonably priced) full English breakfast in the barn the next morning.
Our beautifully converted 18th Century Oast House offers dormitory style accommodation with beds being made up with white linen. Set across three floors there are plenty of bathrooms with showers and toilets are situated on each floor. A number of smaller family rooms are also available, some with double beds.
Oast House is a fantastic addition to Lyde Court, we would highly recommend that you utilise it at your Lyde Court wedding. It is lots of fun, reminiscent of school trips back in the day!
VIP guest accommodation at Lyde Court
On top of this quirky accommodation, we have newly converted our cellar (2019) into VIP guest accommodation. Built with the Bride and Groom’s families in mind, it comprises of three en-suite, double rooms (Daffodil, Snowdrop and Bluebell). We have been overwhelmed with the incredible feedback about these rooms including mention of how comfortable the beds are. One guest even described it as, “like sleeping on a cloud!”
Bridal suite accommodation at Lyde Court
We also have our beautiful and quaint Bridal Suite, which you and your partner can enjoy on the night of your special day. Complete with vintage decor and beautiful lighting, this room makes for gorgeous photographs. The bridal party usually gets ready in The White Room but some Bride’s choose to use the Bridal Suite as well.
Campers, glampers, camper-vans and caravans are welcome at Lyde Court
Being a rural wedding venue, we have plenty of land, which can accommodate an unlimited amount of campers and camper-vans. You can find out more about camping at Lyde Court and book here.
