The Barn and Estate Grounds
From £2,000 Venue Hire
Hire of the 17th-century barn on the Duchy of Cornwall Estate. Tables and chairs, hundreds of candles throughout the barn, festoon lighting in the courtyard, PA system and stage, barn lighting and use of all outdoor spaces — the Front Lawn, Willow Lawn, Rose Barn and courtyard.
Ceremony at Lyde Court

Hold your ceremony in the barn, on the Front Lawn or in the Rose Barn — a licensed, open-sided stone structure that works rain or shine. Lyde Court is a licensed wedding ceremony venue in Herefordshire, meaning your legal ceremony and your celebration happen in the same beautiful place.
Drinks Package
From £12 per person
We’re a free house, which means a genuinely interesting selection of local ales, Herefordshire ciders pressed from orchards down the road, wines and spirits — at honest prices. Wedding drinks packages start from £12 per person and can be tailored to your guest list and preference. Every drop is served by our own bar team.
Wedding Meal Package
From £45 Per Person
All food is prepared in-house by our kitchen team using locally sourced Herefordshire ingredients. Wedding meal packages start from £45 per person and cover everything from canapes and a drinks reception through to a full sit-down wedding breakfast. Menus are discussed and tailored with you in advance.
Evening Food Package
From £10 per person
Evening food packages start from £10 per person — from grazing boards and sharing platters to our wood-fired pizza shed or a hog roast on the lawn. The bar licence runs until 2am with no venue curfew, so the evening can find its own natural pace. Evening food packages are priced per evening guest and designed around your numbers.
Stay the Night
On-Site at Lyde court
On-site accommodation sleeps up to 76 guests in the Oast House, Bridal Suite and three en-suite VIP rooms — so nobody has to leave early, nobody has to drive, and the wedding morning begins at Lyde Court. The Bridal Suite is the oldest room on the estate: original floorboards, exposed beams and a quiet that the wedding night deserves.
