Surrounded by breathtaking Herefordshire scenery, historic charm, and loved ones, every detail is crafted to make your big day extraordinary. From bridal preparations to dancing the night away, this day is all about your love story.
Itinerary for Day 2
8:00 AM – Bridal Preparations in the Lady Charmaine Suite
Start the day with a relaxed morning in the Lady Charmaine Suite, the perfect spot for bridal preparations. Enjoy a Continental Breakfast while soaking in the moment with your bridal party. Meanwhile, your guests gather on the Willow Lawn for a hearty Full English Breakfast to start the day.
12:30 PM – Day Guests Arrive
By midday, additional guests arrive to join in the festivities, ready to witness the heartfelt ceremony and celebrate with you.
2:00 PM – The Magical Moment: Wedding Ceremony
Choose from Lyde Court’s enchanting ceremony locations:
Front Lawn – A scenic open-air spot surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Rose Barn & Garden – Perfect for an intimate, rustic setting among fragrant blooms.
Love Island – A unique, secluded space for a truly magical ceremony.
Medieval Sunken Road – A dramatic and historical backdrop with timeless charm.
At 2:00 PM, surrounded by the beauty of Herefordshire and your loved ones, exchange vows in a setting that feels straight out of a fairy tale.
2:45 PM – Drinks Reception with Canapés
Following the ceremony, you and your guests are invited to a drinks reception in Lyde Court’s picturesque gardens. Each guest enjoys two drinks and a selection of canapés while mingling, toasting, and soaking in the festive atmosphere. This time also offers the perfect backdrop for your photographer to capture the magic of the afternoon.
4:30 PM – A Sumptuous 3-Course Wedding Breakfast
Guests are seated for a 3-Course Wedding Breakfast, crafted with local ingredients and flavors, and served in Lyde Court’s atmospheric barn. Highlights include:
Wine at the Table – With half a bottle per guest, ensuring everyone has a glass to toast the occasion.
Toasting Prosecco – Raise a glass with your loved ones during the speeches, making each word all the more memorable.
Tea and Coffee – Served to the table after the meal, or you can opt for a Tea & Coffee Station if preferred.
This meal celebrates the senses with delicious dishes and carefully chosen accompaniments, served in a setting that’s both rustic and refined.
7:00 PM – Dance and Celebrate in the L-Shaped Barn
As evening falls, it’s time to celebrate with music and dancing in Lyde Court’s L-shaped barn. The spacious layout allows for lively gatherings and intimate moments alike. Our house DJ is included to keep the dance floor alive and the energy high as you and your loved ones celebrate into the night.
9:00 PM – Evening Food for 100 Guests
A delicious selection of evening food is served for up to 100 guests. With a range of choices available, there’s something to satisfy every palate and keep everyone energised for the rest of the evening.
1:00 AM – The Bar Closes
The celebration wraps up at 1:00 AM as the bar closes. If you’d like to extend the festivities, bar extensions are available upon request.
