Corporate Meeting Venue in Herefordshire
Lyde Court is a 17th-century stone barn on the Duchy of Cornwall Estate, two miles from Hereford city centre, available for corporate meetings, away days, team building events and residential retreats. The barn and grounds give teams a working environment that is different from an office or a hotel conference room — without the formality or cost of a dedicated conference facility.
We host events for teams of all sizes, from a small board meeting to a full company away day for 40 or more. Catering is in-house, WiFi is available, and accommodation within the grounds can be arranged for overnight events.

Meeting Spaces
The barn provides a large main space suitable for plenary sessions, presentations or full-group workshops. Smaller breakout areas within the building are available for sub-group work or informal discussions. The layout is flexible — we can work with you to configure the space around your group size and agenda.
Catering
All catering is prepared in-house by our own kitchen team, using locally sourced Herefordshire ingredients. For corporate events, we typically provide a working lunch — buffet, sharing platters or a light sit-down option — alongside tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the day. Full working dinners and evening meals are available for longer events or residential programmes.
Every catering arrangement is discussed and confirmed with you in advance. Dietary requirements are accommodated.
Front Lawn and Courtyard
The main approach to the venue, with panoramic views across to Dinmore Hill and the Malvern Hills. Used for welcome drinks, outdoor ceremonies, confetti moments, lawn games and summer celebrations. The natural backdrop for most outdoor photography.
Parking
Free on-site parking for all delegates. The venue is easy to reach from the A49 and well-placed for teams travelling from Hereford, Worcester, Shropshire and the Welsh Borders.
Private Hire Option
Private hire of the venue — where no other events run alongside your group — is available for full-day and residential bookings. Please mention this when you enquire and we will confirm availability and any additional cost.
Overnight Accommodation for Residential Events
For multi-day events, overnight stays, and leadership retreats, accommodation is available within the Lyde Court grounds. The Oast House accommodates guests across family rooms and dormitories — a total on-site capacity of up to 66 guests. The Bridal Suite and three VIP en-suite double rooms are also available, suited to senior attendees or those requiring a quieter space.
Having accommodation and the working venue on the same site removes the logistics of hotel transfers and allows a residential programme to run across the full day and evening without time pressure.

At the Venue
The outdoor grounds — the lawns, the courtyard and the surrounding countryside — provide natural space for group activities that do not require specialist equipment. Team-facilitated sessions using the outdoor spaces can be arranged as part of a day programme. Please enquire about what we currently offer and we will confirm current availability.

For specialist team-building activities — facilitated workshops, leadership development programmes, outdoor challenges or wellbeing sessions — we work with a number of external providers who we can recommend on request.
