Looking for a magical and educational activity for children this summer? Join us every Thursday at Lyde Court for free storytelling sessions with local children’s author Rose English.
During term time, sessions are designed especially for children under 5. Throughout the school holidays, children of all ages are welcome to enjoy these interactive storytelling adventures.
Set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside just outside Hereford, Lyde Court is the perfect place for families to relax, explore and enjoy a memorable day out together.
Meet the Author
Beloved local author Rose English brings her stories to life with warmth, humour and imagination. Children will love listening to her engaging tales, joining in with the storytelling and meeting the author in person.
Signed copies of Rose’s beautifully illustrated books will also be available to purchase after each session.

Our rustic Lyde Court Café will be open throughout the day, serving delicious coffee, cakes, light lunches and refreshments.
