The Left Bank is partnered with the whirlwind success, Lyde Court and is run by the same Herefordshire family.

One of Hereford’s best known and most iconic buildings it sits on the banks of the river Wye and in the shadow of Hereford’s 900 year old Cathedral.

The Left Bank is a three tiered building in the heart of the city and has been purpose built for weddings, functions, pop-up restaurant nights and a host of other uses. The buildings glass frontage affords you spectacular river views and every floor has its own exclusive balcony.

Your Reception

The Left Bank is one of Hereford City’s most well-known and celebrated buildings. The building has three spectacular floors with huge outdoor covered balconies overlooking the River Wye, so you and your guests can spill outside and enjoy the best views in Hereford on your wedding day.

The Left Bank Hereford is available for Weddings and Receptions every day of the week and are licensed to perform Civil Ceremonies anywhere in or outside the building.

The high ceilings and contemporary design of the main building create a light and airy space for your guests to enjoy your service. You are able to choose the location of your ceremony whether it be next to the wedding reception, in the Coach House or even out on the balcony overlooking the River Wye and the Old Bridge.

Nell Gwynne’s Coach House

Nell Gwynne’s coach house is a converted barn opposite the main building and has a dedicated ceremony room beautifully decorated and giving you a completely different space to hold your ceremony if you wish. The room has a sweet chapel like feel and your guests can spill out onto the courtyard afterwards to enjoy the river views and make their way up to your reception area.
